The whole world is on Digital Blasphemy overdrive! Yes I mean it, its a digital world alright but blasphemous one; people!

Being in this world I see all sorts of them, eighteen year olds rushing in to join a call center for that extra bit of pocket money; that new thrill on a new bike (their parents could buy, mostly after that pay hike and arrears accumulation at forty). There is now a new meaning to career growth; its no longer about learning, apprenticeship under the one you always respected for his/ her professional acumen, gaining experience, something to create with your own ideas.

Step in the ring Mr. Tom Friedman, let me show you the negative backlash your whole World in Flat is creating on developing countries like ours.
Students leaving colleges mid way to devote more time on their call center jobs, no ones actually bothered about what next as long as the money is good and the dude gets to meet some great chicks at work. What next for a nation of billion plus with avg. age of 24-25? We are a young nation, while most of US and UK is growing older!
But if these kids are going to drop out of colleges and join in the BPO brigade, who will go out and build our rockets, run the space programme or better still speak their opinion and vote right?
What next? Does this nation continue to employ kids and be happy about the growth of an industry which accounts for 14% of GDP, congratulate ourselves on the almost Harry Potter like creation of an industry out of thin air or rather virtual space.Dont ask me, I dont know, but somehow I dont feel right!

And while we are at it, enjoy some Digital blasphemy - its art created using only digital tools, nothing natural about it; right!J

The specs just added on my frame somehow Posted by Picasa
Here I am this is me... Posted by Picasa
I haven’t had the time and somehow couldn’t get enough to fill another journal entry for almost a month. What have I been up to? Well been fighting off daemons in my head, struggling with a sense of worthlessness, missing my past and for most parts leading a life without any cause.

When one is wandering down the dark alleys of life so aimlessly there really isn’t too much happening, for most parts cause your own sense not to capture opportunities and then lethargy of not seeking enough of those around.
My B’Day couldn’t have been any better spectacle of my current state, I was up till wee hours of the morning drinking in pubs with friends, because suddenly I felt lonely and scared to spend the day on my own, and next day was no better spent watching movies and roaming a mall. Can you believe it roaming a shopping mall…..I mean how much more mindless could one get!

But now am feeling a little up and about, spending more time by myself, confident of the my past, and finally have some words flowing out of my mind. I had read somewhere that words or rather your expression with words are your source of connection with the world. I have noticed when I sink into my moods of depression, no words seem to stem out, and suddenly one fine clear day my head is brimming with them, almost like worms squirming in and out of rotten vegetables.

But enough of my journal for today, since am back, promise to write everyday again, and most of all start on telling the new story of my life. But for now am off to some jogging, and then working on a creative brief for Cisco, and CRM plan for TATA AIG & Radio City.

I feel good…………..
A day spent lazing around doesn’t really account for any journal entry. But in that laze I realized one strong trait about myself. I am not above all else; thought I had seen it all, been there done that. But as I started playing around with my brand new AMD Athlon 64 bit Gaming desktop, my online behavior reminded me of early days.

Quick to explore the dark side of online, really some mindless clicks into gore and then feeling a little awkward and sick of all that, would head straight off to get some sleep and chill!
I think privacy and thrill of secrecy explodes our sense of freedom.
